The pristine beauty of the Lake Tahoe Region is known the world-round, but preserving its precious habitats amid 3-million annual, very active visitors poses a wide-range of challenges – many involving trails. Join us! As we study challenges faced by our trail allies in this region, and learn from the inspiring successes they’ve achieved.
With assistance from land managing agencies, dedicated trail organizations and interest groups from the greater Tahoe area and throughout California, an exciting line-up of learning and networking opportunities will surely benefit both expert and novice trail professionals and volunteers. Conference attendees include local, state and federal agencies, service providers, and numerous trail related nonprofit and conservation organizations; making this event a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new solutions and partnerships, and learn from hundreds of experienced and dedicated trail professionals.
